How to upload and distribute lecture videos to YouTube

This page explains how to upload lecture videos (for example, lecture videos recorded on your PC with Zoom) to YouTube.
* If you have not created a Google account, please create a new one.

3. You can use the name of your Google account when creating the channel, but you can also use a custom name.
The custom name can be set freely. You can also change it at any time.
On this page, we will proceed without setting a custom name.

That's all for creating a channel.
4. Next, Upload lecture video.
Click "UPLOAD VIDEO" and select the lesson video file from the folder to start uploading.

5. You will be asked to set "Title", "Description", "Thumbnail", and "Viewer".
Title: Enter the lecture name, class date, etc.
Description: Please enter a description.
Thumbnail: Unless otherwise specified, one screen of the video will be cut as an image.
Audience: Select "No, not for children".

Click "Next" when you are done.

6. Select Unlisted and click Save.
At this time, please note that if you select "Public", the lesson video will be open to the public.

7. Send the video link to the students through kibaco to finish.
It is convenient to use the notice function and material function of kibaco.
Also, to prevent the lecture video from being widely released by sharing the video link through the students, please make sure that the video link is not shared with anyone other than the student of TMU.

8. After that, you can add, delete or modify videos in YouTube Studio.

Please upload the video in a file format supported by YouTube. The size of the video that can be uploaded is 128GB per file or 12 hours, whichever is smaller. (As of February 9, 2021)
